About The Position

As a Software Engineer for a recently awarded government contract, you are the architect of the highly complex systems that drive our mission forward. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who enjoys building, maintaining, and transforming complex, processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithms, and cloud-scale environments. You will ensure the scalability, performance, and operational excellence of our codebases, working alongside technical leads and system architects to engineer mission-critical components. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
4 years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processed may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
SWE0: 0+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
SWE1: 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
SWE2: 14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
SWE3: 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
High proficiency in Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/bash scripting, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Practical knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Tool Suite, Hibernate, MySQL, Web Services, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, JUnit, and IDE environments.
Hands-on experience with container platforms and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) along with GitLab CI and SonarQube automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Extensive experience operating within an Agile development framework to deploy a new functional capability inside every Sprint cycle.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

Analyze user and system requirements to derive complex software design, performance metrics and interface constraints.
Design, code, test and modify new software solutions or enhance existing software to adapt to new hardware, optimize performance, and integrate components into modified operating systems.
Develop and implement advanced mathematical algorithms, structural data repositories, and complex databased queries that meet strict timing and system resource boundaries.
Incorporate Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) functionality to optimizr software design and architecture reuse.
Provide technical and strategic leadership to software development teams, delegate responsibilities, choose appopriate development processes, and perform rigorous quality control checks on final team deliverables.
