About The Position
Looking for a full stack developer supporting a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services. This job requires an existing Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph. The salary range is up to $220K, commensurate with education and experience.
Requirements
- Must Be a US Citizen
- Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
- Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
- Possessing significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
- Possessing significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
- Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot)
- College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB
Responsibilities
- Performing schema updates
- Submitting Lucene queries
- Working with Solr/Elastic shards
- Tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
- Implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
