About The Position

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications across the software development lifecycle. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, support deployment and ongoing maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to coding standards, design discussions, and architectural decisions. You will manage and maintain the MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation administration.
  • Proficiency in IIS and Windows Server administration.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL Queries.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Competency in using Jenkins scripts.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and Access.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile principles.
  • Experience across multiple projects and development cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Administer MOVEit Transfer and Automation, including folder creation, user management, permissions, and automated task creation.
  • Execute software installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance to ensure environment availability.
  • Monitor system health and automation tasks to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define scope and review software design documents.
  • Document MoveIT standards, best practices, and provide technical recommendations for functional improvements.
