About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Software Engineer focused on C++ autonomy and robotics to join its team in Mossville, Illinois. The engineer will work on the SATS maintenance and Command for Dozing (remote control) workstream for Large Track-Type Tractors, supporting a regular release cadence and helping extend autonomy capabilities to additional machine models. The role involves developing and maintaining application-level C++ code for remote-control and autonomy systems, delivering releases, and resolving issues in collaboration with Software Developers and Systems Engineers. A Domain Architect leads software technical work, while a Technology Project Manager oversees the overall project and budget. The position is office-based, with occasional hands-on support at the Proving Grounds.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of demonstrated professional C++ development experience.
Experience with unit testing and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
Experience with Ethernet analysis tools such as Wireshark.

Nice To Haves

Robotics and/or automation experience.
Experience with CANape or CANalyzer.
Familiarity with construction equipment.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain application-level C++ code for remote-control and autonomy systems on dozers.
Deliver software releases and resolve issues alongside Software Developers and Systems Engineers.
Support SATS maintenance and Command for Dozing workstreams for Large Track-Type Tractors.
