Requirements

  • Familiarity with software engineering, cloud platforms, containerization fundamentals, and exposure to APIs, distributed services, and data stores.
  • Demonstrated ability to write maintainable, well-tested code that meets requirements and adheres to team standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply secure coding, reliability, and operational best practices, with strong collaboration and communication skills in agile teams.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of experience in software engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React or Angular) and basic familiarity with monitoring or observability tools.
  • Interest in product thinking, continuous learning, and improving developer effectiveness.
  • Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and operation of distributed, scalable, secure full-stack cloud services that process petabytes of data weekly.
  • Build accessible user interfaces and assist with extending existing backend services and data pipelines to deliver customer impact.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of teammates and product partners to solve problems, achieve shared goals, and build AI-powered legal data solutions that operate at massive scale.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, applying feedback to improve quality.
  • Contribute to service ownership by supporting reliability efforts, including on-call rotations and incident response with guidance from the team.
