About The Position

As a Software Engineer, you will help evolve a mission‑critical MRI software platform built on a modern, microservices‑based architecture. Your work will contribute directly to improving patient experiences and enabling clinicians to deliver high‑quality care. This role supports SIGNA™ One, our AI‑driven workflow platform designed to simplify MRI—from planning and setup through scanning and beyond. SIGNA One enables faster scans, reduces complexity, and promotes a patient‑first experience through intelligent automation. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software components within a defined product area. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product partners, and cross‑functional teams, while continuing to build your technical skills and deepen your understanding of complex systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with frontend development (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Experience building software on Windows and/or Unix/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Java/JEE, Spring Boot or Spring frameworks, and API tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Exposure to modern development and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Jenkins, Gradle/Maven, BDD/Cucumber, Artifactory)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical discussions and design sessions, contributing ideas and learning from peers
  • Help translate product requirements into practical technical solutions for assigned components
  • Build and grow your understanding of assigned modules, including dependencies and data flows
  • Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes aligned with established architecture and coding practices
  • Support implementation of interfaces and data exchange between system components
  • Apply standard testing practices, including unit and integration testing, to ensure code quality
  • Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback to strengthen solutions and team collaboration
  • Identify and address routine performance or reliability issues within your scope of work
  • Collaborate with Product Line Leaders and cross‑functional partners to clarify requirements and deliver outcomes
  • Contribute to documentation and team knowledge sharing to support collective success
