About The Position

We are hiring a software engineer to join the corporate staff of Village Caregiving in Barboursville, WV. This is a full-time role with slight preference given to candidates who can work in-person. You will contribute to a large mission critical system for Village Caregiving used by thousands of employees every day. You will be part of a small, fast moving team of engineers. You'll work both collaboratively and independently. You'll design and build features, receive and incorporate feedback from team members, fix bugs, write tests and documentation, monitor production systems, and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency with Typescript, Nodejs, SQL, Postgres, React, Git
• Experience with deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests and documentation
• Experience using AI for software development
• Intellectually humble with a growth mindset
• A team player willing to take on any task

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mission critical systems
• Experience managing large active databases
• Experience with Capacitorjs or React Native
• Experience with HIPAA compliant systems
