About The Position

Join the Cisco STO CTO Operations team in developing a Security Data Platform, a core pillar of Project Atlas and the Minimum Viable Architecture (MVA). Project Atlas is a unified, governed foundation that consolidates shared services, standardizes data, and lets teams build, automate, and innovate with confidence. Cisco STO CTO Operations team provides an outstanding, unique experience by combining resources across US in different geographical location, with startup-like culture and breath of growth opportunities. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Development Engineer to work on the development of our Data Platform project. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, and ensuring seamless integration and high performance of large-scale data processing systems. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement and optimize scalable software solutions that support the Data Platform project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • 5+ years of experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Experience with Databricks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
  • Experience with cloud services related to data storage, processing, or analytics (e.g., S3, Redshift, Big Query).
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement APIs and data pipelines to ingest, process, and manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, system architecture, and performance optimization for scalable data solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end project ownership, including feature development, infrastructure enhancement, and integration with enterprise data systems.
  • Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy and manage Data Platform infrastructure on cloud platforms, leveraging containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
