About The Position

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is hiring a Level 2 or Level 3 Software Engineer for a small, innovative team based in Boulder, Colorado. The role seeks a versatile software developer who can bridge high-performance Python applications and low-level hardware interaction. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, agile environment, diagnose complex issues, and expand their skill set. An active Secret clearance is required at the time of application. Travel is 25% of the time, and relocation assistance may be available.

Requirements

• Level 2: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree and 3 years of related experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active Secret clearance at the time of application.
• Solid understanding of Python.
• Proven understanding of CI/CD pipeline processes.
• Familiarity with version control using Bitbucket.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with the Ruby language.
• Familiarity with OpenC3 software.
• Experience with XML development.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at the time of application.
