Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
About The Position
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and managing cloud infrastructure resources, implementing continuous integration for automated deployments, and applying incident, problem, and change management processes in daily operations. You will propose solutions to business problems, including automating manual processes and tasks, and drive process orchestration, data storage, compute and batch processes, compute and streaming data processes, data storage, analytics, AI, and ML. You will also develop monitoring and observability dashboards to identify potential issues, identify and escalate roadblocks in existing processes, and troubleshoot applications across environments. Collaboration with distributed global teams is key for deploying code, performing post-deployment validation, and upgrading components across projects. You will also partner with internal controls to ensure applications and infrastructure meet internal security standards.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Analyst, or related occupation.
- OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Analyst, or related occupation.
- Three (3) years of experience with orchestrating and installing resources for database access including compute power, memory allocation, databases, and system accounts.
- Three (3) years of experience deploying, running, and monitoring certificate lifecycles and ingestion jobs using scheduling tools such as Airflow.
- Three (3) years of experience defining and managing data storage and access using data lakehouses.
- Three (3) years of experience provisioning, tuning, and upgrading operations using CI/CD tools including GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jules, and Spinnaker.
- Three (3) years of experience supporting applications on both on-premises and cloud platforms.
- Any amount of experience setting up file transfer processes in cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-prem use cases.
- Any amount of experience supporting application-to-application authentication solutions.
- Any amount of experience providing and automating infrastructure resources on the cloud.
- Any amount of experience supporting and troubleshooting applications and processes in production environments containing multiple tenants.
- Any amount of experience applying incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Any amount of experience developing, monitoring, and observing dashboards to identify issues.
- Any amount of experience creating processes to monitor CPU and memory peak usage.
- Any amount of experience identifying roadblocks related to bandwidth, prioritization, connectivity, certificate management, missing files, deployment processes, and regulatory reports.
- Any amount of experience automating manual processes and tasks including report generation.
- Any amount of experience designing applications and transaction flows in the payments ecosystem.
