About The Position

The Journal team at Apple is seeking an iOS app developer to help build applications across Apple platforms. The role involves building features for upcoming releases, prototyping new feature concepts, and helping ensure a great user experience. The position requires deep knowledge of Swift and UIKit and/or SwiftUI, comfort working with evolving designs and requirements, and strong interpersonal skills. The engineer will collaborate with other engineers, partner with designers, and coordinate with teams including iOS and macOS.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Swift and/or Objective-C design patterns.
• 2+ years of experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Talent for cleanly architecting UI features.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Comfort working with rapidly evolving designs and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
