Requirements

  • Experience with object-oriented programming language constructs
  • Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)
  • Experience developing with interpreted languages, such as Python
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) practices at a proficient level
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K8s, Helmcharts)
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with software engineering, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Go programming language and concurrent/parallel processing patterns
  • Experience with TypeScript and Angular framework for web application development
  • Experience with stream processing systems (Kafka, Redis Streams, AMQP, Redpanda Connect/Benthos)
  • Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and concepts (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with agentic development workflows and AI-assisted coding tools
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite of tools for project management (Jira, Confluence)
  • Possession of excellent customer relation skills, including managing requirements for feature requests
