About The Position
Talroo Inc. seeks a Software Engineer for its office in Austin, TX. This role involves designing, building, testing, assembling, supporting, and configuring applications based on business requirements. The engineer will also be responsible for incident resolution and providing customer support via voice, email, chat, and remote assistance. Key activities include debugging existing code to identify and resolve errors, developing prototypes to showcase new technologies, and creating technical documentation like flowcharts and program structure diagrams.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Demonstrated experience in building or developing database analytics or applications
- Experience developing web applications either using (a) Java or (b) Scripting Languages (such as PHP, Python etc.)
- Experience working in an AWS/Linux environment
- Proficiency in SQL
- Must pass a pre-hire technical assessment
- Must reside in the greater Austin metro area or be willing to relocate to the Austin area
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, assemble, support, and configure the application using business requirements
