About The Position

WR has an opportunity for a Software Engineer to formulate and design software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of design.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance is required to start
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
Three (3)+ years of professional software development experience using one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basic, ORM technologies, SQL, containerization technologies, and/or other object-oriented programming languages.
Experience with one or more of the following technologies: C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Python, RHEL, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
Demonstrated software development experience using one or more of these languages within Unix, Windows, Linux, and/or MS-DOS operating environments.
The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.

Responsibilities

Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflows, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
