About The Position

Northrop Grumman is hiring Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers for its Space Systems Sector in Dulles, Virginia. The selected candidate will join the Ground Software Engineering organization. The requisition may be filled at Level 1 or Level 2, with degree requirements varying by level. Candidates must be completing or have completed an accredited STEM degree and be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. Relocation assistance may be available. The role does not require travel, and no clearance is required to start.

Requirements

• For Software Engineer 1: bachelor's degree; for Software Engineer 2: master's degree.
• Be completing or have completed a degree from an accredited institution in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Some experience with at least one of Python or C/C++.
• Some experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
