About The Position

As a computer network operations (CNO) specialist, you know that full‑stack developers, embedded developers, reverse engineers, and vulnerability analysts all play key roles in the CNO capability development lifecycle. We’re looking for someone like you to apply your engineering expertise in a rapidly evolving development and analysis environment. As a CNO capability development specialist on our team, you’ll support full project lifecycles, help design and develop mission‑focused software capabilities, and collaborate closely with cyber operators and technical experts. You’ll work across Linux environments, build robust services using Go, create front‑end components when needed, and develop tooling that enables analysts to solve complex problems. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with software engineering in a professional work environment
  • Experience in a server-side programming language, such as Go
  • Experience with JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience developing within Linux operating systems
  • Experience with SQL databases such as SQLite or PostgreSQL
  • Experience using Git, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Ability to think critically through complex technical challenges
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Elasticsearch, including indexing, schema design, or optimization
  • Experience with Splunk for data analysis or dashboarding
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community or mission-focused cyber programs
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, or containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals or network analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
