Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 1 year of experience in the position or in a related occupation.
- Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in the following:
- Deploying to and operating in a public cloud such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
- OO programming language: either Java or Python.
- Building data pipelines to process data using Airflow and Spark.
- Big data design.
- ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Load).
- Architecting software designs for Big data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer software programs.
- Develop, create, and modify computer applications software.
- Work alongside a skilled engineering team to design, develop, and maintain large-scale, highly performant, data processing applications.
- Own building features, working directly with product and other engineering teams.
- Demonstrate communication skills in working with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deliver top-quality software in a timely fashion.
- Build data pipelines to process advertising data using Spark, Airflow and Hive.
- Build RESTful APIs for internal access to data products using Java and containerized deployment.
- Configure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for data products and services.
