Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Utilize parallel schemes and distributed system computing resources to develop large-scale software system for emulation
  • Utilize Verilog, System Verilog and VHDL to develop testcases
  • Write testing scripts in Perl, Shell, and Python
  • Utilize Tcl C interface to develop software and write testing scripts using Tcl/Tk.
  • Utilize C++ programming language to implement object-oriented design and C++ standard template library (STL) for development
  • Utilize POSIX and POSIX C application programming interface (API) for development
  • Utilize C++ programming language to build high performance software to handle large amounts of data with advanced algorithms and data structures
  • Utilize standard debugger like GNU Debugger gdb, Distributed Debugging Tool (DDT) or Data Display Debugger (DDD) to debug large-scale software system for the software defect analysis

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software companies.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  • Develop high performance software for Emulation Systems capable of emulating chip designs with billions of gates.
  • Build high performance waveform generation solutions for large scale designs, handling massive volumes of computation data produced by the FullVision engine.
  • Design and implement new waveform formats to improve performance and debugging capabilities for next generation Emulation Systems.
  • Enhance debug features including waveform generation in both the Verisium Waveform Database (VWDB) and the Fast Signal Database (FSDB).
  • Improve the overall waveform generation flow to enhance quality, usability, and performance.
  • Accelerate the dsnGen utility, which generates static design hierarchy information for waveform creation.
  • Improve low power debug usability within Emulation Systems.
  • Enable unified VWDB generation in the Modular Compilation (MC) flow to support Unified Power Format (UPF) probing.
  • Develop Compiled Streaming Probe (CSP) technology for fast waveform generation in Emulation Systems.
