About The Position

Shape Mission-Critical User Experiences Join a high-impact, mission-driven team supporting a mature and evolving software development program within the Intelligence Community. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing CAMKey, a mission-critical enterprise service relied upon across multiple systems and users. This is an opportunity to work on highly visible applications where performance, usability, and scalability directly support national security objectives.

Requirements

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field
Four (4) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using React
Strong proficiency in JavaScript
Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph

Nice To Haves

Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries
Familiarity with advanced React concepts (e.g., hooks, context, performance optimization)
Experience developing with TypeScript
Exposure to modern UI/UX best practices and component-based architecture

Responsibilities

Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces for mission-critical applications
Build and maintain front-end components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
Collaborate with back-end engineers, system architects, and mission stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences
Contribute to UI/UX improvements that enhance usability across enterprise systems
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices
Support the evolution of a mature codebase while introducing modern front-end best practices
