About The Position

Siemens is seeking a senior R&D Product Lead for Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ), a web-based collaborative verification management product that integrates with simulation, formal verification, compute-grid, and CI/CD systems. The role drives QVIQ’s product success from an R&D perspective, partnering with Product Management, Product Engineering, architects, and development teams to define priorities, increase customer adoption, and support integration across the Siemens EDA verification portfolio. The Product Lead owns product direction, customer value, and market success while engaging with enterprise software architectures, integrations, APIs, data management, cloud technologies, and verification workflows. The role combines product leadership, technical understanding, customer engagement, and business acumen, and includes shaping the roadmap, translating customer and business needs into engineering priorities, and aligning product vision, release planning, and execution across globally distributed teams.

Requirements

18 or more years of experience in enterprise software development, product leadership, technical product ownership, or related roles.
Proven track record of leading complex software products and delivering customer-focused outcomes.
Strong understanding of enterprise software architectures, web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and software development lifecycles.
Practical knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services, Angular and/or React, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Linux-based environments.
Experience with software integrations, platform ecosystems, and data-intensive applications.
Ability to discuss technical trade-offs, deployment models, scalability considerations, and integration strategies with architects and engineering teams.
Experience working with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.
Strong customer-facing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.

Knowledge of digital design and verification methodologies.
Experience with simulation, formal verification, coverage analysis, regression management, or verification management solutions.
Understanding of semiconductor development workflows and verification organizations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and distributed computing environments.
Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows, analytics platforms, or data-driven products.
Familiarity with Siemens EDA solutions and verification technologies.

Responsibilities

Drive QVIQ product strategy and roadmap execution with Product Management and Product Engineering.
Work with customers, field teams, and strategic accounts to understand requirements, adoption challenges, and future needs.
Define QVIQ’s integration strategy across Siemens EDA products, verification flows, CI/CD environments, and third-party ecosystems.
Translate customer and business requirements into product priorities and engineering investments.
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving R&D, Product Management, Product Engineering, UX, and customer-facing teams.
Ensure product capabilities address real-world verification challenges and deliver measurable customer value.
Partner with architects and engineering teams to align customer needs, technical feasibility, scalability goals, and delivery commitments.
Provide product and technical leadership for capabilities built using modern enterprise technologies.
Support customer engagements, executive reviews, product demonstrations, and strategic evaluations.
Align product vision, release planning, and engineering execution across globally distributed teams.
Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven workflows and analytics, that may influence product direction.
