About The Position
Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting the SSP program. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. Contribute to full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines. Support system integration, RESTful API design, and containerized deployments. Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- JavaScript + PostgreSQL — frontend and relational database development
- TypeScript — strongly-typed JavaScript development
- Spring Boot — Java-based backend services
- Go / Java — backend microservices development
- RESTful API Design — interface design and implementation
- Docker & Containerization — container-based deployment workflows
- Agile Practices — Scrum / Kanban software development methodology

- GitOps (e.g., FluxCD) — automated, declarative deployment pipelines
- Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) — asynchronous service communication
- Observability Stack — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry
