We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer to contribute to our transition into an AI-augmented development model. In this role, you will work hands-on to harness agentic AI workflows to modernize our core Vista ERP platform and deliver next-generation features that empower the global construction industry. Requirements

4–6 years of relevant technical experience in software engineering.
Proven track record of delivering complex feature sets and contributing effectively within agile engineering teams.
Practical experience using Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or Helm).
Solid experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks to ensure software quality.
Practical experience with SQL, Entity Framework, REST Web APIs, and Identity concepts (IAM, AuthN/AuthZ).

Nice To Haves

Experience using AI tools to assist in refactoring legacy monolithic codebases toward microservices.
Exposure to Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud portal, and GitHub Copilot/AI coding assistants.
Familiarity with eventing systems like Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
Familiarity with construction industry accounting or project management software.

Responsibilities

Implement agentic AI workflows to automate routine maintenance, refactor legacy codebases, and support architectural improvements within the Vista ERP ecosystem.
Utilize AI agents to generate boilerplate code, documentation, and unit tests, decreasing time-to-market for new feature sets.
Develop and maintain distributed desktop products, WinForms, .NET Core services in Azure (AKS/Helm), and Blazor web applications with high reliability and security.
Assist in modernizing existing application architecture by incorporating AI-driven patterns to keep the platform maintainable and scalable.
Adhere to and enforce team coding standards and AI governance, delivering consistent, high-quality code.
Participate in technical whiteboarding sessions and code reviews to solve complex maintenance challenges.
Support quality automation (unit, integration, and security scans) and contribute to cloud deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members and offer guidance to junior developers in core .NET engineering and emerging AI tools.
