About The Position

Join a small, talented team of developers at Wolverine Asset Management to solve the business's problems with technology. You'll play a key part in building new applications and extending existing functionality, gaining valuable experience while helping us pursue the best coding patterns and practices. Knowledge of finance or trading is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
Working knowledge of an object-oriented language such as C# or Java
Working knowledge of SQL Server or a comparable relational database
A solid grasp of software development methodologies
A solid grasp of requirements gathering, testing, and implementation from both technical and business perspectives
A proactive, self-motivated problem solver who thrives on a team, contributes confidently in planning sessions, and keeps the end-user experience front of mind

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of finance or trading
Experience with WPF and/or Windows Forms

Responsibilities

Perform full-stack development of primarily desktop applications using .NET technologies and SQL Server, working alongside developers and traders in a dynamic environment
Design, develop, and support applications that solve real business problems, applying strong troubleshooting skills to resolve software issues
Implement and uphold best practices for software engineering policies and procedures
