About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract. The ideal candidate will become a member of a software development effort using Java as the primary language. The development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the team. This position will allow the candidate to broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship
Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.
