About The Position

This is an entry-level Software Engineer position supporting the NOSIS program. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, contributing to full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, sprint planning, CI/CD pipelines, system integration, RESTful API design, containerized deployments, and producing technical documentation. The position is fully on-site in Port Orchard, WA.

Requirements

js + PostgreSQL — frontend and relational database development
TypeScript — strongly-typed JavaScript development
Spring Boot — Java-based backend services
Go / Java — backend microservices development
RESTful API Design — interface design and implementation
Docker & Containerization — container-based deployment workflows
Agile Practices — Scrum / Kanban software development methodology
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math.
U.S. citizenship is required
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
