About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of our subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems within a large government contract. GliaCell Technologies specializes in Software & System Engineering within Enterprise and Cyber Security solutions, utilizing Agile Software Development principles to deliver stable and reliable software. Our Enterprise capabilities span Full-Stack Application Development, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, and DevOps Containerization. We also offer solutions in Cyber Network Defense (CND), Cyber Network Exploitation (CNE), and Cyber Network Operations (CNO), including assessments and solutions in Threat Mitigation, Vulnerability Exposure, Penetration Testing, Threat Hunting, and Advanced Persistent Threat prevention.

Requirements

  • An active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED.
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • TS/SCI Polygraph clearance (this position may require in-scope poly within 7 years.)
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must have strong Java experience as well as experience with MapReduce, Cloud experience, GhostMachine and QTA.
