About The Position

Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite, overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science, the R&D team ensures our customers seamlessly use our products and can depend on their consistency. The Software Engineering team is a group of full stack developers who design, develop, and maintain our products, tools, and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant and related work experience.
  • This position is subject to company on call policies which constitutes working hours outside of the normal workday as needed.
  • Professional experience with functional programming (Elixir, Erlang, Scala, F#, etc..) or modern statically typed languages (Rust, Go, Zig, etc..) developing web applications
  • Experience with PostgreSQL profiling and optimization in production environments
  • Comfortable working in a Full-Stack environment where work may involve CSS/JS, Backend Code, and occasional DevOps & Monitoring tasks
  • Familiarity with self-directed Agentic Development

Nice To Haves

  • Elixir / Phoenix LiveView experience
  • Familiarity with A11Y standards and tooling
  • Knowledge of Budgeting and Accounting terminology and principals

Responsibilities

  • Working with Product to translate product requirements into discrete, testable tasks
  • Understand all ongoing work across teams well enough to intelligently take part in code reviews per day
  • Developing code and completing tasks in tandem with AI tools
  • Consistently asking questions and critically looking at all our processes with fresh eyes
  • Being an advocate for quality by calling out unclear or unsound code and tests
  • Collaboratively building and improving shared tools and processes for the wider team
  • Occasionally investigating issues in Production systems or data in response to internal or customer questions
