About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking multiple Software Engineers (Associate/Experienced/Senior) to join the F15 Mission Systems Software team located in Daytona Beach, FL. The role involves designing and implementing new capabilities in the F-15 Operational Flight Program (OFP) for both United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers. The candidate will be part of a multi-discipline Agile scrum team developing, integrating, and maintaining a wide range of aircraft functionalities, specifically for the Advanced Display Core Processor II (ADCP II). This includes implementing and testing new capabilities and integrating them with other aircraft subsystems. Requirements

Bachelor Degree
Active Secret Clearance
2+ years of experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Level 3 : 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 4 : 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Agile/SAFe development experience
Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
Experience developing embedded real-time software
Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)

Responsibilities

Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
Executes and documents software research and development projects
Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
Troubleshoots software issues
Works under general direction
