Requirements
- Deep care for correctness in software development.
- Customer-first mindset, prioritizing the needs of the worker.
- Willingness to own systems, even when they break.
- Proficiency in Node/NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, Postgres, Redis, and AWS (ECS, Terraform).
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with transaction systems.
- Experience with payment infrastructure.
- Experience working with financial data at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain payment flows, including instant pay, facility invoicing, and billing.
- Implement and improve fraud detection and prevention systems.
- Build and refine invoicing and reconciliation logic to ensure accurate worker payments and facility billing.
- Collaborate with operations and finance stakeholders to understand and address the business impact of developed solutions.
- Own high-stakes systems end-to-end, including managing them when they encounter issues.
