Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience in Software Engineering OR Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience in Software Engineering
3 years of experience in Programming languages including Java, Ruby, Python and Go
3 years of experience in Building scalable and reliable backend services, webhooks and public-facing APIs
3 years of experience in Designing, building, and deploying distributed backend services in a production environment, including handling concurrency, fault tolerance, and service reliability at scale
3 years of experience in Working with relational databases in Postgre SQL, MySQL or NoSQL data stores, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling for high-throughput workloads
3 years of experience in Stream processing or event-driven architectures in Kafka, Kinesis, or equivalent, including producing, consuming, and reliably processing high-volume data streams
3 years of experience in Translate product and engineering requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable system designs, including defining service boundaries, failure modes, and observability strategies
3 years of experience in Building automated systems or tooling to instrument, measure, and evaluate the end-to-end customer experience of digital products, including test automation frameworks, signal collection pipelines, or quality evaluation workflows
3 years of experience in Developing interactive frontend components, dashboards, or data reports using React and D3.js to visualize customer behavior, product metrics, and operational signals in real time

Responsibilities

Build scalable and reliable backend services, webhooks and public-facing APIs
Write high-quality, maintainable code to reliably process and evaluate data signals in real-time, solving complex problems at scale
Take ownership of medium-sized technical projects, translating requirements and constraints into reliable, secure, and explainable system architectures
Actively contribute to the team's on-call rotation, effectively debugging, operating, and maintaining high-visibility systems using established runbooks and best practices
Engage directly with product teams to understand internal and external user pain points, using those insights to build the right solutions and help inform the team's roadmap
