Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems and microservices
  • 4+ years of experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude (or similar) to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging workflows
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare domain, specifically Provider Data / MDM systems
  • 2+ years of experience with AI builders / AI-driven platforms to enhance engineering productivity, and automation
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with: Spring Boot / Java-based microservices, Kafka / event streaming platforms
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with: AWS cloud services (EKS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with: MongoDB (NoSQL) and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with: Docker and Kubernetes (container orchestration)
  • 1+ years of experience with FHIR or healthcare interoperability standards

Responsibilities

  • Design and build cloud-native micro services using Spring Boot, deployed on AWS EKS (Kubernetes) with full containerization (Docker)
  • Develop and optimize event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka/MSK for high-throughput, low-latency data processing
  • Implement scalable data solutions using MongoDB and OpenSearch, ensuring efficient indexing, querying, and retrieval of large healthcare datasets
  • Lead MDM (Master Data Management) and provider data integration initiatives, ensuring accurate identity entities
  • Drive end-to-end system performance optimization, including database tuning, API efficiency, and distributed transaction handling
  • Build and maintain robust integration and automated testing frameworks across microservices (API, event, and contract testing)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best-practice API standards, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation
  • Support production stability through observability, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution in distributed systems
