About The Position

Bandwidth is a global communications software company and Tier 1 network operator. The Voice team builds and operates systems that power reliable voice connectivity across Bandwidth’s network. Their work spans the full lifecycle of voice services, from provisioning and configuration to ongoing management, across multiple downstream systems that are in the path of live customer traffic. This is an engineering-led organization focused on creating automation that is safe, scalable, and resilient, allowing voice and communications platforms to connect seamlessly to their carrier infrastructure. The role involves working at the intersection of application logic and real network infrastructure, writing code that orchestrates external systems with reliability and customer service as top priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience designing web services and service-oriented architectures in a modern programming language (Java, C#, or Go).
• Hands-on experience with AI.
• An understanding of IP networking and protocols, HTTP, and REST.
• Experience with test automation patterns and frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Designed and built AI Agents.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud platform, and understanding how scalable cloud applications are engineered.
• Worked with Docker containers and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solutions from start to finish, collaborating across teams to iteratively ship value.
• Work with a team of software engineers with experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Collaborate closely with product owners to create solutions that deliver the power to communicate.
• Drive innovation within Voice.
