You will work as part of a developer service team that works collaboratively with business users to provide application software enhancements supporting the firm’s Equities Trading business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical or scientific field.
  • Minimum 8 years of object-oriented programming experience with C#/.NET.
  • Willingness to work as part of a globally distributed Dev Team spanning the U.S., Poland, and Hong Kong.
  • Significant experience working with databases, primarily MS SQL Server.
  • Experience writing automated tests, unit tests, and practicing Test-Driven Development.
  • Knowledge of design and architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, observability and monitoring, and containerization using Docker.
  • Strong-problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver new business capabilities, system upgrades, and feature enhancements to improve resiliency, capacity, automation, and controls, while supporting integration with internal and external financial vendors and services.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and build highly resilient distributed systems, ensuring large sets of financial data are processed as close to real time as possible.
  • Build software used to support global trading across multiple time zones.
  • Participate in identifying new technologies to continuously improve software systems.
  • Implement DevOps practices within the team using GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins.
  • Provide production support to diagnose and resolve elevated application software production incidents and implement proactive remediation measures.
