Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields
• Strong proficiency in one of C++, Objective-C or Swift languages
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and power-efficient programming
• Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex software concepts to health, research, and clinical professionals
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

• Mobile app development experience (iOS, watchOS, SwiftUI)
• Background in digital signal processing (DSP) and time-series analysis, particularly for biometric or inertial sensor data.
• Relevant experience within health domains (including work with SaMD or regulatory products)
• Proficiency with Python data analysis libraries (matplotlib, pandas, numpy)
• Experience with machine learning technologies and algorithm implementation

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement health features across iOS, watchOS, and macOS, guiding them from initial concept to shipping product.
• Develop and implement sensor fusion algorithms using sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, heart rate, and others to power new health & wellbeing experiences.
• Collect high-quality data for development.
• Validate and optimize algorithm performance on-device to meet strict power, memory, and privacy requirements.
