As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's C&IB's organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. Looking for Java Full Stack to build and scale modern, high-performing applications. You’ll work across the stack developing responsive React UIs, building robust Java APIs, and driving automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning features end-to-end, working in fast-paced environments, and solving real-world problems at scale. Job Description Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Maintains and debugs software. Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) and backend services
  • Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling
  • Experience with: Git (version control)
  • Experience with: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI
  • Experience with: Maven / Gradle
  • Experience with: Docker (containerization)
  • Experience with: Kubernetes (deployment & scaling)
  • Experience working with distributed systems and APIs
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices
  • Understanding of performance, scalability, and reliability
  • University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance full-stack web applications (React + Java/Spring Boot)
  • Design and implement REST APIs and microservices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the stack
