About The Position

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Specialists: Banking Solutions- Full Stack Developer to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. This role involves identifying client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and client representatives, and interacting with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. The position also includes training and communicating with clients on systems applications. The Software Engineer Specialist is responsible for leveraging specialized knowledge of FIS technologies to analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. They will utilize advanced knowledge of proprietary tools to interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications, and apply expertise with FIS technology to participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. The role requires leveraging unique knowledge of proprietary methodologies to write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements, and utilizing specialized understanding of proprietary technologies to write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. The Software Engineer Specialist will apply unique expertise of FIS tools to complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance, and leverage specialized knowledge of FIS methodologies to train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on systems applications. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and for documenting work and results. Finally, they will apply unique expertise with FIS methodologies to deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation
Designing and developing full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks including Angular, React, Spring Boot, Node and Express.js
Building RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable front-end applications with reusable component architectures
Designing and creating reusable UI components and micro-frontend modules
Implementing secure coding practices and performing code security analysis using static/ dynamic analysis tools to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
Designing and utilizing CI/CD pipelines, Git version control systems, and DevOps tools for application deployment and integration
Participating in software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, design, code reviews, testing, and cross-functional team collaboration
Working with relational and NoSQL databases to design, query, and manage application data
Creating technical documentation including design specifications, system diagrams, and architecture artifacts

Responsibilities
