About The Position

Geo Owl is seeking a Software Engineer / Software Sustainment Specialist to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This position is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting mission-critical analytic applications, databases, and automation systems operating within a classified environment. The selected candidate will support software sustainment activities including application maintenance, database management, troubleshooting, automation development, software updates, defect resolution, and system performance monitoring. Responsibilities include managing source code, implementing software enhancements, maintaining documentation, supporting data workflows, and ensuring operational continuity for intelligence mission systems.

Requirements

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in software engineering, software sustainment, application support, or database administration
Experience with SQL, database management, and application troubleshooting
Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems
Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting mission-critical applications in DoD or Intelligence Community environments
Familiarity with analytic databases, data pipelines, and intelligence workflows
Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, or secure software development practices
Knowledge of SAP/SCI security requirements and accreditation processes
