About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer for Simulation and Training Products. Our products are used to represent the world’s most advanced combat systems, supporting a variety of mission areas and uses. In this role, you will work on software and test execution. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Engineering, C++/Java, and Linux/Unix. This position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Computer Engineering or in a closely related field.
  • Experience using C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Network Topology Configuration, Modeling Tools, Static Code Analysis tools.
  • Experience in Model Based Engineering and related tools.
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence) or Gitlab.
  • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills required.
  • Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix.
