Requirements

5+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting agile software development to modernize systems
5+ years of experience in software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
Experience with Elastc, Java and Springboot
Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field and 14+ years of experience with software engineering in a Linux environment, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in a Linux environment in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, Server-Side Development, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Development, Core Application Systems, Node.js, Groovy, Scala, NiagraFiles (NiFi), Spring Cloud, Spring Core, or Spring Data
Experience writing source code for new applications and generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Knowledge of mobile applications
Knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and support agile software development to modernize systems.
Develop and maintain the technology needed to power the components which enable the user-facing side of enterprise applications.
Conceptualize and implement data storage solutions.
Run performance testing and benchmarking, and optimize data performance.
Create solutions to complex problems either independently or within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Write source code for new applications and generate and enhance code samples for existing applications.
Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
