Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with software development or software integration in cloud, SOA, or web-services environments
• Experience with GitLab, including CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with web technologies and protocols such as web servers, HTTP, and SSL
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting NGA
• Strong AWS/cloud experience
• AWS or Python certification

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain software artifacts in Python in support of NGA’s GEOINT mission
• Write validation tests against existing baselines to protect code integrity during Agile development
• Support unit testing and software quality efforts
• Work across cloud and service-oriented environments including web services and related technologies
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and resource management
• Package and run applications with Docker
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Jira and Confluence
