The complexity of these use cases requires us to be extremely thoughtful about how we design and implement new functionality in the product and make sure it’s both easy to use and comprehend for our customers and maintainable for us. As a Full-Stack, Front-End leaning engineer at Airtable, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to deeply understand their needs and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across product management, design, research and data science to create innovative new features that enable our customers to do their best work. You will be responsible for owning and executing the end-to-end implementation of these new features that will contribute to making our toolkit even more powerful and successful. We currently have openings on: The Self Serve Funnel Team (Full-Stack/FE) is responsible for onboarding and retaining users that come through our self serve channels. Airtable is infinitely configurable. This is both its greatest strength and its biggest onboarding challenge: there isn't one way to use it, so there isn't one way to teach it. As an engineer on the Funnel & Activation Team you will take advantage of frontier AI capabilities to build modern, cutting-edge onboarding experiences that push the industry standard.

Requirements

8+ years of industry experience with modern full-stack web development, with particular emphasis on user facing feature development and full stack work.
Have led large scale strategic initiatives and implemented technical strategy.
Fluent in one or more frontend and backend technologies, and are interested in programming in JavaScript and React.
Excited by a product-oriented full stack or frontend role.
Good understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture.
Background in computer science or a related field.
Believe the best product is the one that helps users accomplish their goals while growing the business.
Take a thoughtful approach to decision making; knowing when to move fast and when to do things right.
Strong convictions, weakly held and assume validation and iteration are a given to produce the best results.
Show strong ownership instincts and sweat the details.
Currently based and/or will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.

Responsibilities

Spec and build product features that are beautiful, consistent, and fast, that encourage exploration, and that earn the trust of our customers through predictable, reliable, and thoughtful interactions.
Work at all levels of the stack, from AWS, Node.js, and SQL to React, HTML. and CSS to build and maintain end to end products on Airtable.
Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand the needs of potential users and build a product that unlocks their potential.
Work alongside and learn from a talented group of engineers with a diverse range of experiences and backgrounds.
