About The Position

Responsible for architecting and evolving enterprise GenAI platforms, with a strong focus on Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic systems that enable scalable, reusable capabilities across the organization. Serves as a hands-on technical authority for designing and implementing GenAI patterns, including knowledge retrieval, orchestration, tool-using agents, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Partners closely with product, data, architecture, security, and risk teams to ensure GenAI solutions are production-ready, governed, and aligned to enterprise standards and responsible AI practices. Defines and drives platform engineering best practices for GenAI systems, influencing how teams build, deploy, observe, and operate RAG and agent-based solutions at scale. Operates with broad autonomy to solve the most complex and ambiguous platform challenges, balancing innovation, performance, cost efficiency, and long-term extensibility. This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
