About The Position

As a Software Engineer at Verily, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing products that are focused on the promise of precision health. Verily's core strategy to advance precision health is by closing the gap between research and care. The Consumer Health Systems Care Console team empowers healthcare professionals to seamlessly coordinate and deliver virtual patient care. It’s an enterprise-grade tool designed to empower physicians, nurses, health coaches, and other members of a patient’s care team. This console is the gateway for users to manage patients, support virtual care workflows, and drive precision health outcomes. The team is composed of full-stack developers who focus on delivering warm, personalized experiences for participants/users. Requirements

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
2+ years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.
Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated experience with Go, TypeScript, React, and/or SQL.
Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver new full-stack software features across a range of Verily products.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify dependencies, coordinate delivery, and communicate design decisions.
Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions.
Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, Google Cloud, Go, React, and Terraform to name a few.
