About The Position

Help define the future of hardware development by building a collaboration platform for circuit designs, enabling the next generation of smart vehicles, IoT devices, rockets, medical devices, robotics, and much more. At AllSpice, we're building the agile development framework for hardware designers, including a Git-friendly translation layer and automated CI/CD framework for native circuit designs — think GitHub/GitLab + Copilot for electronics.

Requirements

Experience working on systems-level software
Experience writing parsers
Experience writing test harnesses and dev tooling around the core software
Strong project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
Comfort with ambiguity and a high degree of autonomy
Ability to think in terms of the big picture and deliver on the details
Fluency with AI tools — using them day-to-day to debug, document, and reduce operational toil, and expecting this to be a normal part of how the team operates
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)

Experience designing hardware or working with ECAD tooling (Altium, KiCad, Cadence, Siemens)
Rust Experience
Compiler Experience
Experience with Hex Editors and binary debugging tools
Low-level knowledge of Git

Responsibilities

Working with engineers from each relevant team to determine what data they need, its shape and structure, stability guarantees, and if it's already provided in a different format.
Determining how to provide the data, whether by parsing new files from customers, integrating with external databases, or other methods.
Defining the interface the team will use to consume that data, such as providing an SDK/Code module or spinning up a service.
Coordinating with the rest of the parsing team to determine when to extend existing interfaces or create new ones.
Coordinating with product managers, sales, and other stakeholders to provide timelines, expected features, and constraints for projects.
Working collaboratively and in a self-driven way in a highly autonomous role.
