About The Position

The ASE Organizational Systems & Intelligence team is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer who enjoys building tools, platforms, and automation that improve how teams operate. In this role you will help design and develop internal systems that power operational insights, automation, and intelligent workflows across Apple Service Engineering. You’ll join a high-trust, high-impact engineering team responsible for building and evolving internal tools and web applications that support the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) organization. In this role you will work across the full stack to design and deliver systems that simplify complex workflows, automate operational processes, and provide actionable insights for teams across Apple. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineering partners to: Translate ideas and operational needs into scalable technical solutions Build and iterate on internal platforms and tools used by engineering and program teams Develop MVPs quickly and evolve them based on user feedback Improve development workflows through automation, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices Contribute to systems that enable intelligent insights, reporting, and AI-driven capabilities across ASE. Requirements

• Professional experience as a software engineer building production systems
• Strong problem-solving ability with a self-driven and proactive mindset
• Experience building modern web applications
• Front-end development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Back-end development experience building APIs and services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Experience working with containerized applications (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with React, Next.js, and/or Node.js
• Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or operational systems
• Experience integrating data platforms, analytics, or AI-enabled workflows
• Passion for building tools that improve developer and operational productivity
