Software Engineer - .NET / SES
About The Position
Securiport is hiring a Software Engineer (3–5 years experience) to build scalable, high-impact systems supporting global border security and threat detection. In this role, you’ll develop C#/.NET backend services, APIs, and microservices that power real-time data processing and analytics platforms. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and DevOps teams in an Agile environment, contributing to systems that are secure, distributed, and performance-driven. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer looking to deepen expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and distributed systems while working on mission-critical applications.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience (backend-focused preferred)
- Strong experience with C# and .NET
- Experience building APIs and microservices architectures
- Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Familiarity with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to event-driven systems / message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ)
- Front-end experience (React, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience working with large-scale data or analytics platforms
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain .NET (C#) applications, APIs (REST/gRPC), and microservices
- Work with SQL Server/MySQL for data modeling, queries, and optimization
- Contribute to distributed systems and asynchronous processing workflows
- Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver features end-to-end (design → deployment)
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software
- Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and DevOps best practices
- Containerize applications using Docker (Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
- Integrate messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ (nice to have)
