Software Engineer, ML Ops
About The Position
AeroVect is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on ML Ops to work at the intersection of computer vision and autonomous systems safety. This role involves both the creative aspect of AI, such as building 2D/3D models, and the rigorous engineering side, including creating redundant systems and performance diagnostics. A background in perception within the robotics domain is important for this role. AeroVect is a Series A company backed by top-tier venture capital investors in aviation and autonomous driving, transforming ground handling with autonomy for airlines and ground service providers globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field.
- Understanding of sensing, preprocessing, detection, tracking modules.
- Python, C/C++ and ROS2 proficiency
- Quick learning skills and high bias for action
Nice To Haves
- Masters in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of focused perception stack experience
Responsibilities
- Participate in developing 2D/3D deep learning models
- Develop a secondary perception system for redundancy
- Generate metrics and diagnostics about individual modules in the stack
