Patch is hiring a software engineer to bring together the disparate data and workflows we have built over time into a reliable market-intelligence foundation. That foundation will help Patch direct capital and action toward the highest-impact climate solutions. You will ingest and structure messy climate-market data, expose it through internal MCP tools and APIs, and build AI-powered research workflows that help our Climate Strategists, Sales team, and Marketing team understand markets, companies, commitments, suppliers, and buying signals. The goal is to turn fragmented information and repeated manual research into reliable systems that improve how Patch advises, targets, and acts. This is a software engineering role. You will build and operate production data systems, internal products, and AI-powered workflows. Climate Strategy, Sales, and Marketing will be your primary users and partners; Engineering will own the architecture, implementation, reliability, and evolution of the system. This is not a marketing-operations, RevOps, CRM-administration, business-analysis, or content-research role. You will work closely with those functions, but your job is to build the underlying software, data products, and intelligence systems they rely on. You will spend time with users, understand how work happens in practice, and turn recurring needs into durable systems rather than increasingly elaborate point-to-point automations.
