Northrop Grumman is supporting a special program, that has a scalable and expeditionary intelligence ground station that will leverage space, high altitude, aerial and terrestrial layer sensors to provide targetable data to commanders at all levels so they can quickly assess threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of relative experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Current and active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required at time of application.
  • Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting using object-oriented programming (Java).
  • Experience with Container Management (Dockers and Docker-Compose) and networking with containers.
  • Comfortable using git, including branching, merging, and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Experience in Spring, Vue, GIT, Agile, Elasticsearch, and Maven are also required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with/using Agile Methodology and Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) Tools (Jenkins, Gitlab) and Practices.
  • Experience with software system integration, testing, and deployment, including but not limited to automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Quick learning, comfortable with learning new technical concepts and new libraries and APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Work on an agile development team using modern development practices tackling both new development and operational support.
  • Leverage space, high altitude, aerial and terrestrial layer sensors to provide targetable data to commanders at all levels.
  • Develop and troubleshoot using object-oriented programming (Java).
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot using object-oriented programming (Java).
  • Manage containers using Docker and Docker-Compose.
  • Network with containers.
  • Use git, including branching, merging, and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Integrate, test, and deploy software systems.
