As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Looking for a Python with strong experience in PyTest/Selenium or Playwright, capable of building scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and validating both UI and API layers. Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in Python (3+ years typical)
  • Proficiency in: OOP concepts, modular design, Data structures and algorithms, Package management and dependency handling
  • Experience building scalable applications and utilities
  • Experience with at least one Python-based automation stack: PyTest / unittest frameworks, Selenium WebDriver for UI automation, Playwright (modern web automation)
  • Ability to automate: UI testing (web apps), API testing (REST services), Integration / system testing
  • Good understanding of: Test design (BDD/TDD concepts), Test data management, Assertions and validations
  • University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
  • Create and Execute Manual testcases for both UI and backend applications
  • Experience using Jira and generating Test summary reports.
