As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Looking for a Python with strong experience in PyTest/Selenium or Playwright, capable of building scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and validating both UI and API layers. Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in Python (3+ years typical)
Proficiency in: OOP concepts, modular design, Data structures and algorithms, Package management and dependency handling
Experience building scalable applications and utilities
Experience with at least one Python-based automation stack: PyTest / unittest frameworks, Selenium WebDriver for UI automation, Playwright (modern web automation)
Ability to automate: UI testing (web apps), API testing (REST services), Integration / system testing
Good understanding of: Test design (BDD/TDD concepts), Test data management, Assertions and validations
University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
Facilitates complex problem resolution.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues.
Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
Create and Execute Manual testcases for both UI and backend applications
Experience using Jira and generating Test summary reports.
